Only one rule: Love your family and love them hard! Nothing is more important to a child than family being fully present. Family films are the perfect gift to pass to your children as a reminder of the undivided attention that’s so evident in their lives. That’s what we’ll capture on film.
Family Film Bundle includes a 1-hour film & photo session that takes place wherever and whenever you want. The most common place is at home as the saying is true for most, “there’s no place like home”.

There is a non-refundable booking fee ($135) and will be applied to the total amount of $545 after booking. Once payment is received you will receive an invoice, your contract for the session and a session date based on my availability.
Upon checkout, you will be asked to choose the month you would like to book your session. The specific date will be confirmed after the booking fee has been received. Note: Availability is subject to change.
The booking fee is a non-refundable payment to secure your session spot. This payment can be transferred to a rescheduled booking session at a later date, if needed.

A Family Film is a modern-day home film. It's designed to capture candid moments of your family that highlight the special bond you have with each other.

Sessions usually go for 1 Hour. Short enough to fit within a busy schedule and long enough to get the whole family comfortable and forget the camera is even there.

Sessions usually take place in your home or wherever your family enjoys spending time together. What's really important when considering location options is that your session should occur in a place that's meaningful to your family. Nothing is off the table.

In order for me to document your family as the day unfolds, it would require little involvement from me. Granted I am a very curious person and love learning about family traditions and their nuances, so you may hear questions from me that may spark a small activity here and there.

This is not a glam shoot so the dress you were contemplating wearing can stay for another occasion. Really what we want to go for is something that best timestamps this season in life, something that best represents your style at this given time.
Is there a go-to sweater or pair of jeans that fit you best?
Consider this: Someone close to you should be able to watch this 5 years from now and say, "That's totally them!" Wear that!

When you book a session with us, you may come to rediscover the beautiful moments and details that you enjoy most about your family.
This starts before the session takes place as we reflect on your everyday moments with your family through a fun, guided Family Questionnaire.
From the responses on your questionnaire, we brainstorm what your session may look like. You'll quickly find out that the session is focused on how you enjoy your family rather than how you look on camera.
Once we start, I'll be a fly on the wall ready to capture all your candid moments together. No pressure to stick to the schedule, I get it, plans change as quickly as personalities do. From time to time I may lower my camera and ask a few things that sparked my interest cause I'm that curious and we'll pick it back up with the next activity.
It's very laid back, so don't feel the need to constantly keep things moving. Magical moments are captured when the hugs and loving stares are just that second longer.
A couple of weeks later you'll relive your time together with curated photos and film available for download.

Does saying "pretend I'm not even here" ever work? You're still fully aware of the camera no matter how hard you try.
But let me say that it's not a matter of convincing yourself the camera is not there, it's a matter of knowing there are no other people in your life you would want to have captured on camera WITH you. I emphasize 'with' because that is what's important to everyone present, that you're in the family picture.
If there's a moment when you become aware of everything going on, remind yourself why you love each person present. Maybe even share it with them! Compliments are not in short supply!
But if you're ever wondering how everything is turning out on camera, I can assure you, you are dad-ing and mom-ing so great!
If you happen to glance over at me, you will most likely catch me smiling behind the camera because I LOVE seeing every family's unique connection. I know that what's being captured is something your family will treasure 10 years from now.

The most rewarding part of these sessions is when a family is able to see in a mirror how special their family actually is.
The documentary shoot is meant to highlight the connection and interactions between family members and these seemingly ordinary routines allow these natural moments to occur.
It's actually the mundane moments that everyone seems to remember when reflecting on their life because it reminds them that their time was repeatedly spent with the people they love. So let the pajama-wearing and couch snuggles begin!

What I can tell you is that you'll get my best! You're going to get everything I've got the second we meet.
In any given session, I like to take the first 15 minutes to introduce myself and for everyone to get familiar with me in the room. I'll also take this time to do a walkthrough of the home to find the best view to capture your family. (huge sucker for windows!) Just a heads up, you may catch me being a film ninja, crawling between furniture and standing on chairs.
Side note, I know how unpredictable little ones can be so you will get no judgment from me. If the outbursts come, I say, bring it on! There's enough time in the session for your little ones to come around and enjoy the rest of the session.

I get it, having a stranger with a camera in your home may not be the ideal Saturday morning plan especially if you haven't figured out how to "Marie Kondo" your place yet. I'm here to be like a friend with a camera you invited over to hang out for a couple of hours chatting or enjoying the silence of the day. In all honesty, things are happening in your life that are making you smile, laugh, and even cry-laugh and need to be remembered before the kiddos grow up. Every family member deserves to see how special their family is. Be encouraged that you will have treasured moments together captured on camera forever.

First things first, we're not going for the photos you pinned on Pinterest. That would be impossible because your family connects differently than what you might see there. This is because every family's "authentic" moments are completely unique and special to them.
